In celebration of Pride month, the AEW Pride Affinity Group has opened submissions for our first ever AEW Pride Art show!

AEW Capital Management is seeking 14 Boston LGBTQIA+ artists and allied creatives for 8x10 works on paper to display in our office from July 25 – August 30 with the intentions to extend pride celebrations throughout the summer. 

Selected artists will be granted $100 for their participation.

Submission Guidelines

Artwork must be measured to 8x10” on paper. Paper size cannot exceed 13x13”. Works must be unframed as framing will be provided for display. There are no requirements on subject or medium and no overarching theme to qualify. However, works must be office appropriate. Therefore, we will not accept works that include nudity, sexually explicit scenes, or vulgar and/or hateful language.

To submit, please email a photograph of your work to sophie.steell@AEW.com with the subject “PRIDE ART SHOW – [ARTISTNAME]” along with the following responses during the submission timeline. Submissions received outside of this window will not be accepted.
1. Your Name and a brief statement of you as an artist.
2. City/Town you reside in (no full addresses please)
3. Please provide a title and brief description of the work submitted noting materials used and any inspiration for the piece.

Acceptance

Selected artists will be informed of their acceptance by July 5th and required to mail in or drop off their work no later than July 19th 2024 at our Seaport Office. Address and additional information to be provided upon acceptance. Additionally, accepted participants will have the option to provide direct contact information for any purchase inquiries.
Lastly, selected artists will be invited to attend an opening in our office on July 25th 2024.
